The town of Odon has received a grant to install a kid’s splash pad at the Odon Park.
According to a story in the Odon Journal, the Daviess County Community Foundation awarded the town $15,000 to help pay for the splash pad.
Odon Council President Chuck Krieg said the town has been quoted the price of $24,600 for a splash pad. The Journal reports that Krieg said the town has the additional money in its Riverboat fund, but he is also asking for donations from the public.
The splash pad’s location in the park has not been determined.
