Lenora Lea Hart, 84, of Washington

Mrs. Lenora Lea Hart, 84, of Washington, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2018, while surrounded by her family.
Lenora was born in Daviess County to the late Dale Burris Alford and Eva Viola Alford (Stafford). She was a 1952 graduate of Washington High School and was wed to Edward “Ed” Hart on Aug. 12, 1983.
Lenora retired from McCord Corp. as a bookkeeper, and also was a bookkeeper for People’s National Bank. She enjoyed playing the piano and taught many children piano lessons over the years. Lenora anxiously waited for springtime every year to be able to hunt mushrooms. She enjoyed her family and cherished every moment spent with them.
She leaves behind her loving husband of nearly 36 years, Edward “Ed” Lee Hart; one daughter, Mrs. Patricia Eve Ingle (Bruce) of Mooresville, Indiana; three sons, Christopher Lee Hart (Lori) of Brazil, Indiana, Jeffrey Marvin Hart (Phylis) of Washington, Philip Lloyd Hart (Kelley) of Washington; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Cheryl June Price (Art) of Washington, and Mrs. Carolyn May Traylor (Gordon) of Otwell.
Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 21, 2018, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., with a service following on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2018, at 10 a.m., with a visitation from 9 a.m. until the time of service, all at Gill Funeral Home, 308 E.
