As reported Wednesday, a Washington woman was jailed Tuesday for Aggravated Battery, Battery Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury to a person under 14 and Neglect of a Dependent Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury.
20-year-old Kaylyn A. Jones remains jailed on a $25,000 bond. The charges stem from an incident in which a six month old was injured while left in Jones care. The Washington Times Herald reports after an investigation and interviews, Jones allegedly admitted dropping the 6 month old boy she was babysitting on a concrete floor. She also said she was annoyed at one point and picked up the boy by the left arm and threw him on a couch with considerable force.
No court date has been set for the case.
