– A person was airlifted from Daviess Community Hospital after being transported there by ambulance following an accident in northern Daviess County Monday morning. The call went out at 7:21-am to an address on State Road 358 at Elnora. A vehicle was reported to have flipped with someone trapped. Southwest Medical transported the person to DCH where they were flown out to another hospital by Air-Evac. 358 was shut down for a time while authorities investigated the crash. Fire departments in Elnora, Odon and Madison Township responded as did the Sheriff’s Department.
– Power lines were knocked down when a vehicle struck a pole on Donaldson Road near the Conservation Club. That was reported at 1:21-pm yesterday.
-A slide off accident was reported at 25-East and 600-South at 9:40 last night. Heavy front end damage was reported to the vehicle.
-Two vehicles collided on State Road 257 near Chapman’s glass late yesterday afternoon. There were no injuries.

ARRESTS
-31-year-old Edner J. Assinthe was arrested on a warrant yesterday for Residential Entry, Battery on a Child Under 14, Domestic Battery, Invasion of Privacy and Criminal Mischief.
-Gregory J. Aldrich of Washington was jailed for Operating While Intoxicated with Greater than .15% and from Criminal Conversion. Bond was bond set.
