Wilma R. Heshelman

Wilma R. Heshelman, 80, of Sandborn, IN, passed away Friday, March 1, 2019 at her home. She was born on February 12, 1939, in Greene County, IN, to Perry and Elmyra (Earl) Terrell. On December 31, 1956, Wilma married James E. Heshelman.
Wilma was a loving mother, grandmother, homemaker and a farmer. She owned and operated Heshelman Trash Service. Wilma was a member of the Sandborn First Christian Church and was a devoted and hardworking member of the Sandborn community.
Survivors include two sons, Rickey (Darla) Heshelman and Ralph (Joan) Heshelman, both of Sandborn; four grandchildren, Brandy (Clint) Wilkes, Belinda Heshelman, Brittney (Brent) Daymude and Chelsea (Cody) Polston; two great-grandchildren, Kenzie Sweigert and Kailyn Daymude; four sisters, Fay (Jay) Shake of Odon, Esther Knight of Linton, Lois (Jim) Pieper of Sandborn, Edna Johnson of Elnora and several nieces and nephews.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, Ernest, Raymond and Ivan Terrell; four sisters, Bernice Carrico, Dorothy England, Mae Morrison and Hazel Maryfield.
The family has requested memorial contributions to be made to the Sandborn First Christian Church and Good Samaritan Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the church.
Funeral services will be held at the Sandborn First Christian Church, 12:00 PM noon, Wednesday, March 6, 2019, with Pastor Bryan Sanders officiating. Interment will follow at the Sandborn Cemetery in Sandborn, IN.
Visitation hours will be held from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at the Sandborn First Christian Church. Visitation will continue from 10:00 AM until the hour of service on Wednesday.
The Heshelman family have entrusted the Meng Family Funeral Home,  Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton, IN with these arrangements.
