Joint investigation nets meth and weapons

        The Washington Police Department released details yesterday of a Monday drug bust.
        Two Loogootee residents are charged with Dealing and Possessing Meth, Possession of Paraphernalia and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.
        A search warrant was served at 508 Butcher Boulevard in Loogootee just across from the Junior/Senior High School.  133 grams of meth, Schedule 4 Controlled Substance Pills, Marijuana, 6 handguns and 21 long guns were found. 
        Arrested were 60-year-old James Cunningham and 58 year old Georgia Cunningham. 
        The investigation was a joint venture of Washington Police, The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department, Indiana State Police and the DEA Task Force.
