The North Daviess School Board has approved the purchase of two new busses, heard a report on damage caused by a exhaust fan fire and water from the sprinkler system at the elementary school, and set April 24 as an half-day, e-learning day.
The Washington Times-Herald reports that North Daviess Superintendent Robert Bell told the Board that North Daviess staff will use half the day for professional development while the students use the time for e-Learning. Like the other Daviess County Schools with rural populations, no all students have at-home access to the internet. North Daviess students’ e-learning assignments will be required to be turned in the day after the students return to school so they can use the school’s internet to complete the work.
