Ira “Arch” Leonard Mattingly of Washington passed at his home Wednesday, March 20, 2019.
He was born July 25, 1938, to the late Walter and Inez (Borders) Mattingly. Ira was a 1956 graduate of Washington Catholic High School. He worked 17 years at McCords and was a lifelong farmer.
Ira is survived by his wife of 62 years, Janet; his son, Brian (Erin); his brothers, Louis and Vernon (Linda); his sister, Sue (Wayne) Lee; his grandchildren, Nolan (Nicole) Mattingly, Sara Wade, Cain Wilson, Joel (Laura) Mattingly, Ross (Kaycie) Wade; his great-grandchildren, Baileigh, Cydnee, Kharter and Madden, Racey, Kortlym Danford, Ira and Roslyn Wade, and Archie and Peter Mattingly.
Ira is preceded in death by his son, Brent Mattingly; his daughter, Lisa Blackburn; his granddaughter, Brandee Wade; and brothers, William Mattingly, Thomas Mattingly, Robert Mattingly, Danny Mattingly and Joey Mattingly.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
