Autopsy confirms death at West Boggs was not a drowning

Conservation officers have confirmed it was a Harrison County, Indiana man who died at West Boggs Lake on Wednesday.  However, a medical condition was  determined to be the cause of death and not drowning.
The DNR issued a news release last night saying that 79-year-old Herbert Stickler of Ramsey was fishing with a family member when a lure became snagged on a log.  He tried to free the line and fell from the boat into 3 to 4 feet of water.  His fishing partner was unable to rescue him.   He was not wearing a life jacket.
