Kentucky Couple Arrested in Gibson County Wednesday Afternoon

A police chase and a deployed Taser led to the arrests of a Kentucky couple Wednesday afternoon.
The Gibson County Sheriff’s Department says that a deputy attempted to stop a vehicle for a moving violation. At that point the vehicle fled and led the deputy on a chase through the southeast section of Princeton. The driver eventually stopped, exited the vehicle, and attempted to flee from police on foot. The deputy then deployed a TASER and 46 year old Gene Komosa, jr. of Henderson, Kentucky was taken into custody. The passenger in the vehicle, 46 year old Rebecca McLevain, also of Henderson, was found to have an outstanding Gibson County warrant and was also taken into custody. It was also discovered that Komosa had an outstanding Tennessee warrant for a probation violation on an aggravated burglary charge.
An investigation of the vehicle found marijuana and hypodermic needles.
Both Komosa and McLevain were taken to the Gibson County Jail. McLevain was held on her outstanding warrant and Komosa fa Possession Of Marijuana, three counts of Resisting Law Enforcement, Unlawful Possession of a Syringe, Operating a Vehicle Without Ever Having Received a Valid License, and Reckless Driving.
