(NETWORK INDIANA) Strengthening the state’s workforce is one of the top priorities for a southern Indiana state lawmakers. Representative Holly Sullivan is proposing a new law to help Hoosiers have easier access to certifications and training programs. The bill passed both chambers before the session ended last month and now awaits the Governor’s signature. If signed, the bill would reallocate funds to proven workforce programs and prioritizes career and technical education. Sullivan says with more grants available, more Hoosiers can find better higher paying jobs.
