Three people face various of drug related charges after a drug bust Thursday evening. Around 10:00 p.m. Thursday evening, the Washington Police Department responded to a residence on Washington’s N.E. 20th Street. The WPD’s DEA taskforce and Deputies from the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department obtained a search warrant and found methamphetamine and items associated with the distribution of methamphetamine. 31 year old Justin Davidson of Washington was arrested on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Paraphernalia, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Dealing Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of a Syringe. Also arrested were 23 year old Jamie Bjella of Linton, who was charged with Visiting a Common Nuisance and Illegal Possession of a Syringe, and 32 year old Jarret Whitehead of Washington, who was charged with Maintaining a Common Nuisance. All three men remain in the Daviess County Security Center.
