The Daviess County Museum is playing host to the largest traveling Civil War Exhibit from the Indiana Historical Society.
Linda Cornelius with the museum and the local historical society, says the exhibit just hit the road this year. It was developed during the state’s bicentennial celebration in 2016. Cornelius says the exhibit is more of a personal history with the faces of those involved and showcases individuals and how they were affected.
Tonight, there is a special program on the civil war at the museum..
Cornelius added that Daviess County had many who went to war in the 1860’s…
Again tonight’s program with Monty Critchlow is at 6 at the museum on Main Street. The state’s traveling exhibit will be at the museum throughout the month.
