A body of an unidentified subject was located today in the White River in Northern Morgan County.
At approximately 10:46 a.m. Sunday, Morgan County Sheriff’s Department received a 911 call stating a body had been located in the White River near the State Road 144 Bridge. A Morgan County Deputy arrived on scene and confirmed the body.
The witness stated they were walking along the river bank when they observed what they believe to be a body.
The process of identifying the body is underway.
Indiana Conservation Officers are continuing the investigation, with the assistance of the Morgan CountySheriff’s Department and Morgan County Coroner’s Office.
