Anna Marie (Scott) Grannon, 82, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Monday, June 3, 2019, at her home.
Anna was born in Montgomery, Indiana, on Sept. 15, 1936, to the late Melvi and Hazel Grace (Clements) Scott. She was a 1954 graduate of Montgomery High School. She worked at NASCO for 23 years before moving to Evansville. In Evansville, she worked at Maco Reprographics 18 years. She enjoyed spending her days with family, bowling leagues and playing cards with friends.
Anna is survived by her two daughters, Brenda (Rick) Lents and Grace Grannon, both of Evansville; four sons, James R. (Denise) of Houston, Texas, Stephen of Diamondhead, Mississippi, Mark andKenneth (Donna) Grannon, both of Evansville; one sister, Mary Jane Delong of Roseville, Ohio; grandchildren Garret, Joanna, Cathy, Alex, Benjamin, Amanda, Kyle, Danielle, Marc and Melissa; and great-grandchildren Alayna, Harley, Harper, Darien, Hannah, Austin, Kayla, Kharter, Baileigh, Cydnee and Tucker. Anna is preceded in death by her husband, James R. ‘Bob’ Grannon, whom she was married to for 46 years; a sister, Wilma Jean Gorjanc; brother George (Sonny) Scott; and grandson Jeremy Grannon.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, June 7, at St. Peters Catholic Church in Montgomery, Indiana, with Rev. James Koressel as celebrant. Burial will follow in Sugarland Memory Gardens in Washington, Indiana. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until 10:50 a.m. at St. Peters Catholic Church.
