Baldwin pleads guilty in child’s death

        A Vincennes man will be sentenced later this year for the murder for his son.
        55-year-old Robert Baldwin appeared in Knox Circuit Court Monday where he pleaded guilty but mentally ill in the April 2017 death of 5 year old, Gabriel.  The boy was smothered and strangled.  Baldwin could get up to 65 years in prison.
        Pre-sentencing is set for August 23^rd.
