After touchdown, the plane bounced over the road and went into a ditch and inverted. The frame was severely damaged and the pilot, 52-year-old Robert L. Milsaps of Coal City suffered non-life threatening head injuries and broken bones. He was taken to Terre Haute Regional Hospital.
