Robert “Bob” D. Collins

Robert “Bob” D. Collins, 83, of Washington, IN, passed away June 21, 2019, at Good Samaritan Hospital.
Bob was retired after having worked several years at People’s National Bank in Washington,IN and at First National Bank in Rochester, IN. He attended the Free Methodist Church and the Bethel United Methodist Church. A member of the Gideons International, he also served on the Daviess County Hospital Auxiliary.
Born December 16, 1935, in Dubois County, Indiana, he was the son of Harold Von and Alma (Clements) Collins. His parents; his wife, Jennifer Lee Elizabeth (Stamm) Collins; his sisters, Mavis Juarez, Melvin Dougherty, Jackie Rea, Joann McCarty, and Lorena Addis; and his brothers, Leonard, Adrian, and Elbert Collins preceded him.
Surviving are his children, Tami Harrod of Plainfield, IN, Tanya Stoll and her husband, Lynn, of Washington, IN, Traci Abel and her husband, Sam, of Plainfield, IN, Tim Collins and his wife, Cheryl, of Greenville, OH, Tom Collins of Washington, IN, and Terry Collins and his wife, Cheryl, of Venice, FL; his sisters, Rose Sikes of Bloomington, IN, Virginia Flick of French Lick, IN, and Loretta  Drake of Paoli, IN; sixteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit with Bob’s family from 5:00 – 8:00 on Tuesday, at Goodwin Sievers Funeral Home, 2020 State Street, Washington, IN. His funeral will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00. Burial will follow in Sugarland Memory Gardens.
