And since tomorrow is Independence Day, we have this reminder that all Washington City and Daviess County offices and departments will be closed on July 4th.
There will be no trash pick up in the City of Washington and the city bus will not be in operation. The Washington Recycling Center will be also be closed. Washington residents who have Thursday as their regular trash pick up day should have their trash ready for pick up by 7:00 a.m. on Friday, July 5th.
If you have any questions regarding this notice, please call the Street Department. The Daviess County Landfill will also be closed.
