The Martin County Fair kicks off today.
Gates open at 5 at the fairground on US 50 between Loogootee and Shoals. An antique tractor show at 5 and the queen contest at 6:30 highlight tonight’s events. The rides open at 6.
Tomorrow the exhibit building opens at 9. There’s a beef show at 9, a robotics demonstration at 11 at the shelter house. There’s a horse and rabbit show set for tomorrow at Noon and 1-pm respectively. There’s a Lawn Tractor driving contest slated for 4. The rides open at 6-pm. At 7 a sheep show is in the livestock area and the grandstand event tomorrow are Farm Tractor and Truck Pulls.
General Admission is $5 with children under 5 getting in free.
