-The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department arrested Maria Calles Cuellar of Washington on a warrant Friday. She was wanted for Failure to Appear for Operating a Vehicle While Never Receiving a License. She faces an additional charge of Operating While Never Receiving a License and Procession f Paraphernalia.
-Officers charged 18-year-old Joshton Sours of Washington Friday with Possession of Marijuana, Operating While Never Receiving a License and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor. That arrest was the result of a traffic stop at 8:30 Friday night on East Maple and Northeast 4th.
-63-year-ol Stephen Fitzgerald of Washington was arrested by Washington Police on 3 counts of Operating While Intoxicated including with Greater than or Equal to .15%, and with Endangerment. He’s also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. The arrest came after police investigated an accident where a vehicle hit a garage on Memorial Avenue about 7:45-pm Friday.
-18-year-old Lynsie Burris of Washington was arrested on Friday for Possession of Marijuana Bond was posted.
-Loogootee Police arrested 34-year-old Mathew Shoultz of Loogootee on Friday. He was charged with 3 counts of Operating While Intoxicated including with a BAC of Greater than .15 and 2 counts of OVWI with Endangerment.
-A car/deer crash was reported on 300-South at 11:19-am Friday.
-Southeast Rescue, the Cannelburg Fire Department and Southwest Medical were dispatched to County Road 675 South in Montgomery at just before Noon Friday. Police logs show that a man was reported to have been burnt by exploding gas. The last emergency vehicle left the scene at 1:14pm.
-Washington Police investigated a report of a Breaking and Entering on a vehicle Friday. That was reported at 3:07-pm.
