Monday night, a single car acident resulted in death.
That happened on US 50 east of Shoals. The Martin County Sheriff’s Office say for an unknown reason, a pick-up went off of the north side of the road and hit a road sign, crossed back into the eastbound lane and hit a tree coming to rest on the south sie of the road and it caught fire.
22-year-old Grady Key of Shoals was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash is still being investigated. It was reported at 8:49 Monday night.
