The average price for gas across the state today is $2.53 per gallon, says GasBuddy. That’s down four cents from where it was Monday. There are several stations in Evansville selling it for $2.27 or less. In and around Washington, Gasbuddy.com is reporting gasoline is around 2.29. In Petersburg it’s around 2.31, in Vincennes and Loogootee it’s still up around 2.60,
