The annual Turkey Trot festival is Thursday through Sunday at the Montgomery Ruritan Park.
Some new events were added on Sunday this year, spokesman Tony Showalter says one of them is a lawnmower demo derby.
Another new Sunday event is a junior mud volleyball tourney for kids. That will be at 1 on Sunday with the traditional mud volleyball at 11:30.
The Turkey Trot will start tomorrow night. Carnival rides open at 5. Those are free with paid admission. Turkey races start at 6 pm. There’s bingo at 6:30 at the Community Building. The Truck Outlaw Class and Tractor Pulls start at 6:45. Beer Garden is open 6 to 10.
