The Vincennes Police Department is reminding the public not to touch any hypodermic needles they may come across.
They say that within an 8 hour period on Saturday, officers responded to three separate calls on people finding needles across Vincennes. Such needles are typically used by those with diabetes, however they can be used for illegal drug use. Finding them in parks, sidewalks and public bathrooms has become common. Anyone who finds a needle should report it to police and not touch it.
