East Fork Water has issued an immediate Boil Order for all customers of East Fork Water living north of U.S. 50. This also includes East Fork Water customers in Loogootee, Dover Hill, and Trinity Springs. Those East Fork cusotmers experienced an interuption of water service over night and all those East Fork customers are now under a Boil Order, effective immediately. This Boil Order will stand until further notice. The water company says that people in the affected area should let water boil vigorously for three minutes prior to use. Then the boiled water should be bottled and stored in a refrigerator.
Residents of the area are reminded that they should use only boiled water for drinking, brushing their teeth, and all food preparation uses. Drinking and using bottled water is also an alternative.
Again, East Fork Water customers in Loogootee, Dover Hill, and Trinity Springs, and areas north of U.S. 50 are under an immediate boil order until further notice.
