State Police Arrest Gibson County Restaurant Manager on Theft Charges

Indiana State Police have arrested a former Oakland City restaurant manager for allegedly stealing over $36,000 from the owner of Mom’s Diner in Oakland City.
Indiana State Police began a criminal investigation into the thefts after receiving a report about a signigicant amount of missing money in August.  The State Police say that 54 year old Roger Norrick of Oakland City was the restaurant manager and responsible for calculating daily sales and making the nightly deposits.   The investigation revealed that Norrikc allegedly stloe over $36,000 from Mom’s Diner between January and August of this year.
After reviewing the result of the investigation, the Gibson County Prosecutor’s Office issued a warrant for Norrick.   He was arrested at his residence Friday morning an booked into the Gibson County Jail on a Class 6 Felony charge of Theft.
