(BOONVILLE)  Neglect charges for a woman in Boonville. Court documents say Fallon Bonnell was arrested and taken to jail last night. She’s charged in the death of her baby daughter, Amara Taleno, who died September 14th. Investigators say the little girl was less than two months old when she died. The documents says Bonnell admitted to drinking heavily, taking Zoloft and smoking marijuana the night her daughter died. Bonnell said she must have fallen asleep on the couch, smothering her daughter in the process.
(INDIANAPOLIS)   Public health managers in Indianapolis are telling the 70-thousand-or-so people who attended last week’s FFA convention to be on the look-out for mumps. The Indiana State Department of Health yesterday said it confirmed that someone at the convention tested positive for mumps. The Department of Health says the risk of exposure is low, but they want to be on the safe side. It usually takes between two and three weeks for the mumps to show in someone who’s gotten sick.
