-The Washington Fire Department was dispatched to a Vincennes Avenue home. The call came in at 12:21-am for a basement fire at the the home. They were on the scene for about 40 minutes. City police logs say the problem was a short in a water heater which cause it to catch fire and start smoking. There were no injuries.
-A car/deer crash was reported at 2:22 this morning at mile marker 77 on I69.
-A car/deer accident was reported at just before 7 last night. That happened on State Road 257 south.
-There was a car/deer accident reported at 12:12 yesterday afternoon on 57 north of Plainville.
-A resident on Dewey Avenue in Washington reported that someone rummaged through their unlocked vehicles. That was called in at just before 8 yesterday morning.
-At attempted break in was investigated at a residence on 975 North at Odon yesterday afternoon.
-Christopher J. Clark of Washington was arrested on a Writ of Attachment Monday. Bond was set at $5000.
