The Vincennes Police Department is putting out notice and advice to residents to lock doors. They say they have gotten 9 stolen vehicle reports since November 1st along with 27 thefts from vehicles including 3 firearms.
They advise to lock all doors on a vehicle and to not leave it running and unattended. They say that will greatly reduce the amount of thefts.
