Bears believed to be gone from Indiana

Indiana may be completely bare of bears. The last one reported, was reported in February in southern Indiana, said Dept. of Natural Resources biologist Geriann Albers.  It could’ve been the one that was believed to have survived a hit by a truck on I64 in November of 2018 near Georgetown. Albers said she doesn’t know if that one went home, but as of now she does not believe Indiana has any bears.
