The Southwest Indiana Development Council has elected new officers for 2020.
The council, turning 33 years old in the new year, consists of economic development organizations in Daviess, Knox, Pike, Martin, Dubois, Crawford, Orange, Spencer and Perry Counties.
The new officers elected were Ashley Willis of the Pike County Growth Council as President, Michael Thissen of the Crawford County EDC, Ed Cole of the group known as Dubois Strong and B. Todd Mosby of the Perry County Development Corporation.
The SWIDC serves the I69 and I64 corridors and has a mission to improve workforce skills and innovation talen while retaining and grown manufacturing and commercial developments in Southwest Indiana.
