Sodexo Services and the Washington Community Schools Foundation hosted another successful Community Caring Day yesterday at the Washington Junior High Gym. Families in need and community volunteers gathered to pass out warm weather gear, such as coats, hats, and blankets to those students in need as the cold winter weather approaches. One of the organizers from Sodexo Rose Wilson says again the community support was amazing.
Volunteers from many school groups also helped by offering face painting, cookie decorating, and other fun activities for families to enjoy.
