Vincennes Police report that a Sunday traffic stop resulted in one arrest and led to a search warrant where 3 more people were taken into custody.
Vincennes Police say they were involved in narcotics enforcement when they stopped a car at Nicholas Street and Eric Avenue. With the assistance of a K9, the driver, Shane Auberry, was found to be in possession of meth. A handgun was also found. He’s charged with Possession of Meth.
Officers say the incident led to a search warrant being obtained and served at a South 10th Street home where more meth, drug paraphernalia and suspected marijuana was located.
Arrested there were 54-year-old Franklin Allen for Dealing Meth and 32-year-old Regina Cuatt who was charged with Possession of Marijuana and Paraphernalia. Both were also charged with Maintaining a Common Nuisance.
In addition, 29-year-old Christopher Anderson was arrested for Possession of a Handgun Without a License. Anderson was also found to be wanted on a Failure to Appear Warrant out of Knox County.
