Terry Hill-Junior was in court on Thursday

A special judge has taken a request to release a defendant’s bond under advisement.
Special Judge Jeff Biestervield of Pike County heard the request in the case in Daviess County against Terry Hill- Junior.  He turned himself in, in April of last year after multiple victims claimed he raped them and to perform sexual acts while he was a coach in Daviess county.
The Washington Times Herald  reports that Hill Junior’s Attorney Sam Shapiro said bail was posted before he received the bail review and Hill’s bond was posted in just 15 hours.  Shapiro requested $8,000 of the $50,000 bond that was posted would be used to take depositions since Hill did not have money to move the case forward.  The Deputy Prosecutor of Daviess County said the state was not in favor of releasing the bond since Hill did not satisfy retainer fees for his representation.  The newspaper reports the prosecution did say if Hill- Junior returned to custody the full bond could be released.
Again the request was taken under advisement by the judge.
