Barn fire & a rollover accident on the weekend police blotter

-Authorities were called to a barn fire at 12:21pm Sunday at 1616 East 250 South.  The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department, DCH EMS, the Southeast, and Washington Township Fire Departments all responded. The barn was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived. There were no injuries and the cause is still being determined.
-Air Evac was called to evacuate a patient involved in an accident over the weekend.  It was reported at 2:21-am Sunday morning at State Road 57 and 400-South.  Police reports say the vehicle was upside down and a person had a severe cut to the head. The patient was taken to DCH and believed flown to another hospital.
-A vehicle break in was reported in a parked vehicle in a driveway on Northeast 3rd. Several items were taken from the car. That was reported at 12:15 on Saturday afternoon.
-Thirty-four-year-old Keshia L. Rickard of Washington was arrested on Sunday by the Washington PD.  She was wanted on a warrant for Failure to Appear for Driving While Suspended. Bond was posted.
– A Wheatland resident was arrested by Washington Police on a warrant for 1 count of Fraud and 2 counts of Theft. Bond for 29-year-old Shaina D. Chestnut was set at $5000.
-An investigation on Sunday resulted in charges against 27-year-old Mark R. Bell of Washington.  He was booked into the Daviess County Security Center without bond for Resisting Law Enforcement and Reckless Driving.
-Malorie Goff, 34, was arrested by Vincennes Police on Sunday for Possession of Marijuana, a Controlled Substance, Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated, and Possession of a Syringe.
-Saturday night, Vincennes Police charged 22 year old James Harker with Domestic Battery Committed in the Presence of a Child under 16.
