The Daviess County Health Department is commending nursing home staffs across the county working tirelessly to care for, protect, and support residents under their care.
In an update released Thursday there are 8 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Daviess County and there’s been 1 previously announced death.
DCHD is working closely with the local and state officials to ensure that close contacts of the patients are identified and monitored and that all infection control protocols are being followed. The patients have been placed in quarantine. No additional information about the patients will be released due to privacy laws.
