The Indiana State Department of Corrections announced the very first coronavirus-related death of a correctional officer. Correctional Officer Gary Weinke was 67-years-old and had been working at the Wabash Valley Correctional Facility in Sullivan County, south of Terre Haute. Weinke began suffering from virus-related symptoms on March 29, and later tested positive. Weinke died on Saturday.
