Irene M. Hinkle 95, of Odon, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, April 26, 2020.
Irene was born in Daviess County to the late Earl E. Wilson and Bessie (Sefrit) Wilson on January 23, 1925.
Irene was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and a graduate of Epsom High School. She was a dedicated employee at Uniroyal for more than 30 years and enjoyed her job. Irene, at the age of 63 was married to the love of her life, Walter Hinkle and they enjoyed 8 wonderful years together.
Irene is survived by; a sister, Alice Slaven; nieces and nephews, Bruce Wilson (Suzanne Cox), Henry Wilson (Donna), Farrell Engstrom of Wyoming, Helen Lambert of OH, Reba Derrett of Indianapolis, Janelle Switzer of Paoli, Donald Duke of FL, Kenneth Duke of Mooresville, Marlin Wilson (Laura) of Indianapolis, Marilyn Topham (Ed) of CO, Debbie Bickley (Jim) of Odon, Dena Linneweber (Alan) of Newburgh, Tena Gieselman of Newburgh, Tammy Slaven of FL, and Marsha Slaven of Washington; and several great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by; her loving husband, Walter Hinkle; 3 brothers, Dale, Clifford, and Earl Wilson; a sister, Juanita Williams; and a nephew, Phillip Wilson.
