The Knox County United Way is getting $225,000 in COVID-19 Relief Fund Initiative monies. It is additional money which United Way Director Mark Hill says will go toward local non-profit agencies to provide needs to clients like help with food or emergency childcare or other critical needs needs. Also a series of town hall meetings will be scheduled to look at the needs of the people of Knox County as a result of the pandemic.
