Dots Wagler

Dots Wagler, 67, passed away at 7:09 pm on May 25, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his family. Dots was born on July 15, 1952 in Jasper, IN the son of John H. and Vera F. (Miller) Wagler. Dots married Teresa Albertson on September 25, 1976.

Dots was a 1970 graduate of Barr Reeve High school and attended Calvary Missionary Church. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinal, IU, Jeff Gordon and Miami Dolphin fan. Dots loved to hunt mushroom, deer and jet ski with his family. He also played slow pitch softball as a pitcher and shortstop and was famous for his quotes. Dots always said I will be in my office at McDonalds if you ever need me.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa Wagler of Washington; son, Scott R. Wagler of Washington, Indiana; daughters, Nikki L. Zenthofer and  husband Andrew of Newburgh, Indiana; Amie B. Wagler of Evansville, Indiana; sisters, Trish Harner of Washington, Indiana, MaDonna Noak and husband J.P. of Granger, Indiana, Roberta Hartsburg; brothers, Steve Wagler and wife Susan of Cleburne, Texas, Keith Wagler  and  wife Hope of Duncanville, Texas, Ted Wagler and wife Deb of Huntsville, Ohio, Philip Wagler and wife Anna of LaGrange Park, Illinois; grandchildren, Lyric Collison, Raegan Walden, Ryleigh Zenthofer, Eisley Wagler as well as several nieces and nephews. Dots was preceded in death by his parents, sister-in-law, Dawn Wagler and niece Heather Albertson.

Friends may visit with Dots’ family on Friday, May 29, 2020 at Antioch Christian Church, 3007 East U.S. Highway 50, Washington, Indiana from 3-8 pm. Dots’ funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Antioch Christian Church with the Rev. Bruce Roberts officiating. Dots will be laid to rest in the Plainville Cemetery.
