The Vigo County Fair will go on as planned this summer, but will be missing one big thing. Organizers say the three-day event will not have carnival rides.
Marketing and Event Coordinator Jenny Hamilton says they’ve been working with the health department to come up with the safest plans.
“We’ll definitely have hand sanitizing stations, and different things that we have to follow,” Hamilton told WTHI. “But we’re hoping that people will see that we’re doing it the right way.”
The fair will be July 10-12, and will still include events like a truck-and-tractor pull, a country music concert and a sprint car race.
