One lane of State Road 57 on the bridge spanning Hannah Creek near Plainville will be down to one lane starting next Tuesday. The Indiana Department of Transportation says their contractors will conduct a bridge overlay. There will be a temporary traffic signal to maintain traffic in the area between Hanley Street and East County Road 900 North. Work is expected to last through the end of August.
If you will be traveling on I69 through Gibson County next week, the Indiana Department of Transportation has announced work north of the State Road 168 ramp. The north and south lanes of the interstate will be closed two miles north of 168 for bridge repairs to the bridge over Gibson County Road 550. The passing lanes in both directions will be open and maintained 24/7 during the work which is expected to last through mid-October.
