20th Century Chevy, Inc. awarded their Annual Automotive Scholarship Thursday.
The 20th Century Chevy, Inc. 2020 Scholarship aids in the Daviess County, Indiana region to high school seniors or recent graduates attending a post-secondary institution in an automotive or related technical field. The intent of this scholarship is to cultivate an interest in automotive related activities that fosters lifetime learning opportunities and camaraderie among fellow automotive enthusiasts.
The candidate must be accepted for enrollment to attend any automotive or related technical field at an accredited (post-secondary) university, college, or vocational/technical program in the United States. The program must grant a degree or certificate in the applicant’s educational field. Programs may include but not limited to the following: automotive Technology, diesel mechanics, collision repair, engineering, automotive design, etc.
The Scholarship awards were presented to Caleb Craig and Owen Kalanquin, both are 2020 graduates of North Daviess High School and will receive $750.00 each to continue their education at Vincennes University.
