The Greene County Sheriff’s Department reports one person died in a Saturday crash on South State Road 45 and East Tincher Road.
47-year-old Ronnie Rivera was a passenger in a 2008 GMC Sierra driven by 46-year-old Lucas Scutt of Springville. Scutt was south and went of the west side of the road and traveled 240 feet. The truck then truned over and slid coming to rest on its top in a ditch on the east side of the road. The Rivera died as a result of injuries.
The accident is still being investigated.
