People with relatives in nursing homes in and around Evansville are being asked to stay away. Vanderburgh County‘s health department is recommending that people not visit nursing homes. On Wednesday, county leaders said if people do want to visit nursing homes, the visits will have to be outside. Public health managers say the spike in coronavirus cases is making it too dangerous to risk bringing the infection into a nursing home.
