Washington Community Schools is taking measures to make school buses as safe as possible this school year.
Buses will be cleaned and sanitized between routes, hand sanitizer will be provided for student use, and masks must be worn on the bus per Governor Holcomb’s mask mandate for schools.
Washington currently does have enough drivers to create additional routes to properly social distance on the buses, so they will not be able to guarantee limited occupancy in each seat. Washinton Community Schools encourages parents who are capable of transporting their own students to school to please do so. This is to try to keep numbers to a minimum.
