On Sunday, the Indiana State Department of Health reported 860 new positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state’s total to 62,372. There are also 8 new deaths due to coronavirus, bringing that total to 2,706 Hoosiers who have died. 701,311 Hoosiers have been tested for the virus since the pandemic began.
Indiana‘s positive coronavirus test results have doubled in the last month. The state had just under a four-percent positive rate on June 21st. Now, the seven-day daily average sits at 11-point-five-percent.
