The United Way of Daviess County has awarded over $16,000 to several agencies in Daviess County. This is the first phase of the Economic Relief Initiative.
$6,000 has been awarded to Ketcham Memorial Center, Almost $6,000 has been warded to DSI Services, $2,500 to Daviess County Partner Ship Connections, $1,000 to Senior and Family Services, $500 to the power house, and $500 to the Daviess County Historical Society.
Phase II for the Economic Relief Initiative to open is August 15th, available through the Community Foundation’s portal. This is for the mid-term recovery phase regarding Covid. The funds are to help the community in moving forward and providing a service that the United Way have found may be essential during this time.
