Prosecutors in Evansville are moving ahead with felony charges against a caretaker who they say allowed two people to starve to death in their home. Police arrested 58-year-old Gilbert Williams Monday night. Investigators say he was supposed to be caring for a man and his elderly mother. Instead, they say, Williams extorted their family for at least 20 thousand-dollars and allowed the pair to die. He is charged with neglect and exploitation.
